When it comes to hosting hikers, the Queyras gîtes have been at the forefront for over 40 years and today offer a whole network of quality accommodation to match every preference.

Dotted along the famous GR58 long-distance hiking trail, they united in 1993 to form the department’s leading association of gîtes. There are now over 30 gîtes and refuges waiting to welcome more than 7,000 hikers year after year.

At our gîtes, you’re the owner’s guest! In small, comfortable dormitories or cosy rooms, we do all we can to ensure your needs are met.

With us, mealtimes are moments of generosity and togetherness with good ‘house’ cooking based on local produce whenever possible.

For your convenience, the Sherpa service will forward your luggage each stage of the way... you’ll find transport labels at our gîtes.
