The Gîte ‘ABRIES-LE-VILLARD’ adopts a sustainable, fair-trade and responsible approach to tourism. We give priority to local, seasonal produce, encourage minimal travel by putting a 9-seater minibus at your disposal, and focus our educational approach on good citizenship and solidarity.
Martine and Philippe take bookings all year round at the very first stopover gîte opened in 1972 (and fully renovated since) in the lively village of Abriès in the Queyras Regional Nature Park, and on the Grande Traversée des Alpes and Tour du Queyras (GR58) hiking routes.

By road
From Marseille: - Motorway A51 as far as La Saulce. Then follow signs for Tallard, Embrun and Guillestre on roads N85 and N94. Then take road D902, then the D947.
From Grenoble: Take the N85 road (Route Napoléon) to Gap, then road N94 (Embrun and Guillestre). Or take the N91 from Vizille over the Lautaret pass, then the N94 to Guillestre (Izoard pass closed in winter). From Guillestre, follow the D902, then the D947. To Montdauphin Station Shuttle buses and taxis for Le Queyras.
From Paris: direct TGV night train (berths) to Grenoble, Valence, Aix en Provence and Oulx.
From Marseille: express train Marseille/Briancon.
From the coach stations of Marseille, Aix en Provence, Nice and Grenoble. Lyon, Marseille/Marignane and Turin.
